Kweichow Moutai WuXing Three Great Revolutions
Kweichow Moutai WuXing "Three Great Revolutions" entered the domestic market in 1966 and remained in production until 1982. The Three Great Revolutions are the 1911 Revolution, the Chinese Communist Revolution, and the 1966 Cultural Revolution.
Due to aging the date on the back label has faded and as such we are unable to put an exact date on this bottle. Another notable feature is the wording "local state-owned" on the front label.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl #384
Since the introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, initially known as Age Inconnu, has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different Grande Champagne cognacs matured between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a 16th century metal flask found on a Jarnac battlefield in 1850 which was purchased by Rémy Martin.
Louis XIII Black Pearl Cognac, described as “a rare and exclusive treasure”, is an exclusive series of 786 carafes numbered from 001 to 786, which reinvent the original Louis XIII carafe. The 786 numbered carafes come from a single century-old tierçons barrel used in the final ageing, which had until now been hidden in the personal reserve of the Hériard Dubreuil family.
Black Pearl was introduced in January 2007.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII (1946-1950)
Since the introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, initially known as Age Inconnu, has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different Grande Champagne cognacs matured between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a 16th century metal flask found on a Jarnac battlefield in 1850 which was purchased by Rémy Martin. Between 1874 and 1920 Rémy Martin Age Inconnu was sold in glass decanters made by Verrerie Royale de Saint Louis in Münzthal but these reproductions were far from perfect and so the production was entrusted to Cristallerie de Baccarat from 1920 onwards.
This Remy Martin (Louis XIII) Très Vieille Age Inconnu was bottled for Europe between 1946 and 1950, in a period in which the name Baccarat was engraved under the base but still without the Baccarat logo which would be added in 1951. This is decanter #79. Production in these post-WWII years was extremely limited, so far we have not seen any number exceeding #120.

Chartreuse V.E.P. Jaune 1994
The second version of Chartreuse V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) was released in 1963 in honor of the prosperous period after WWII, known as 'Trente Glorieuses'. Chartreuse V.E.P. is made using the same processes and the same secret formula as the traditional liqueur, and by extra long ageing (8-20 years) in 600 liters demi-muids oak casks it reaches an exceptional quality. Why second ? The monks already released a Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Chartreuse Jaune as early as 1942 which was aged 10 years in a tonneau en chêne.

Kweichow Moutai 1972 Kuíhuā
In 1968 the Revolutionary Committee of Kweichow Moutai Distillery announced the replacement of the Feitian export label by a new logo depicting a sunflower (Kuíhuā). A total of 4 different designs of the sunflower were drawn, one of them depicting of a big-leaf sunflower, designed by the Guiyang City Arts and Crafts Research Institute. Initially the big-leaf sunflower was chosen and some labels were printed but almost instantly rejected and replaced by the final choice which became known as the small-leaf sunflower. The sunflower brand was registered March 30, 1968.
On April 29th 1973 the distillery was ordered to cancel the sunflower labels by replacing them by Feitian labels, thereby restoring the situation as it used to be before 1968. Eventually it took until 1976 before the situation was completely restored.

Kweichow Moutai 1987/88 Feitian Iron Cap
The highly sought-after Kweichow "Iron Cap" Moutai series was born at the end of 1985 and lasted for about a decade. From January 1987, all the domestic and export packaging of Moutai liquor was officially changed to special aluminum screw capsules. The venerable distiller had previously only used stoppers of wood and plastic, or even bladder-skin seals. Manufactured by the Italian Guala Closures Group, which specializes in non-refillable aluminum closures for spirits, the special aluminum screw capsules were designed to prevent counterfeiting and tampering. In 1987 and 1988 the words "Guizhou Moutai" appear in silver on the top of the capsule, from 1989 the wording is in gold.
