Lochan Ora is a famous whisky liqueur made with the even more famous Chivas Regal Scotch whisky, flavored with honey and a secret recipe of herbs and spices. We do not know when production started but it has been around at least since 1969. The discontinuation of Lochan Ora, in 2010, was the result of a combination of factors. Shifting consumer preferences, an overcrowded market, industry regulations, and increasing production costs all contributed to its downfall.
