Chartreuse V.E.P. Verte 2008

Chartreuse V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) was created in 1963 in honor of the prosperous period after WWII, known as 'Trente Glorieuses'. The bottle itself is a exact replica of the one used between 1840 and 1868. Chartreuse V.E.P. is made using the same processes and the same secret formula as the traditional Chartreuse Verte liqueur, and by extra long ageing (8-20 years) in 600 liters demi-muids oak casks it reaches an exceptional quality. Chartreuse Verte , created in 1840 and initially name "Liqueur de Santé", is the first liqueur made from the original recipe of the Elixir Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse. It was so popular that Father Garnier, attorney and responsible for the liqueurs at the time, later decided to officially name it 'Chartreuse Verte', and registered the “Chartreuse” mark in 1852.

Guizhou Moutai 1935 (2014)

Moutai 1935 is a mid-range product from Guizhou Moutai Liquor Co. This product is made from high quality local sorghum and wheat, with water from the Chishui River, a river of fine Chinese spirits, and strictly adheres to the traditional brewing process of making the liquor at the Dragon Boat Festival, feeding it at the Chongyang Festival, steaming it nine times, fermenting it eight times, extracting it seven times during the brewing period, storing it in fractions and blending it for a one-year production cycle, and then storing it in Moutai’s unique cellar for five years before packaging it for delivery.
