Hennessy Black
Hennessy Black, released in 2009, is the iconic brand's first major launch since the Hennessy VS in 1961. Designed to be used as a base to your favorite cocktail or spirit and mixer, it's a versatile VS housed in a contemporary and chic bottle. Multifaceted in flavor, it ranges from citrus to floral with a delightful fresh burst of grapes.

The blend is distinctively smooth with a mix of 35-45 unique, pale and gold-colored eaux-de-vie, specially selected for their elegance and refined florality. This eaux-de-vie are left to age in old French oak barrels that are at least five years old, a true example of Hennessy's craftsmanship and respect for their heritage and history. It’s important to note that the Hennessy Black is not 5 years old, and is, in fact, a VS of around 2 or 3 years.

Hennessy Black has been discontinued in 2024.

Hennessy Paradis Rare
Hennessy Paradis was released in 1979, created by Maurice Fillioux, as successor of Hennessy Extra, though the name extra was added to the Paradis label for quite some time, apparently to ensure the public would understand what Paradis actually stood for.

Hennessy Paradis Cognac is made from a blend of eaux-de-vie, some of which are up to 100 years old, that have been carefully selected and aged in oak barrels. The type of grape used in the production of this cognac is the Ugni Blanc, which is grown in the Cognac region of France, where the Hennessy house is located. The terroir, combined with the unique aging process, gives this cognac a unique and complex flavor profile.

This Hennessy Paradis Rare Cognac, introduced around 1990, was bottled in a slightly re-shaped decanter compared to the distinctive 1979 decanter and remained in service until 2001 when it got replaced by the new Ferruccio Laviania decanter

Logis de la Mothe Vieille Reserve
Logis de la Mothe is a discontinued brand, owned by Andre Jullien, a French producer and owner of a family business which started in 1865. Although production sort of halted in the 1980's it took until 2017 before the announcement came that they would only sell their Cognac, in bulk, to the large producers. This is really a shame as Logis de la Mothe is arguably one of the best Cognacs ever produced. Vieille Reserve was the oldest expression in their humble range and as such the best they had to offer.
