Glenfiddich released the 18-year old expression Ancient Reserve in 1996 and continued to bottle it until 2008. Ancient Reserve is a marriage between oak-matured and Oloroso sherry cask matured Single Malt, the latter which where first used by Glenfiddich in the 1960's.

Besides the regular bottle the distillery also released 2 different colored Spode decanters of which this is one.

Lochan Ora (Golden Lake) is a whisky liqueur made with Chivas Regal Scotch whisky, flavored with honey and a secret recipe of herbs and spices. Lochan ora was introduced in 1968.

The discontinuation of Lochan Ora, in 2010, was the result of a combination of factors. Shifting consumer preferences, an overcrowded market, industry regulations, and increasing production costs all contributed to its downfall.

This is the second and final presentation which run from 1978 until 2010.

The Jameson Caskmates Tokyo Edition was announced 15 May 2018.

James Caskmates Tokyo Edition brings an entirely new level of logistical complexity. Jameson is aged in the cask in Ireland, then the cask is shipped to Tokyo, where two different DevilCraft beers are rested — their Imperial Stout and Imperial Rye Brown Ale. Afterwards, the barrels are returned to Ireland, where Jameson is finished once again for 10 months. The two resulting Jamesons are blended together, bottled, and sent back to Tokyo.

On 17 March 2011 Jameson launched a limited-edition bottle to mark St. Patrick's Day. Designed by Irish artist Paul Daly, the bottle aims to make St Patrick’s Day more contemporary and relevant to global consumers, according to brand owner Pernod Ricard. The bottle was inspired by illustrations from The Book of Kells, a famous medieval manuscript which is thought to be the muse of modern Celtic art. An important part of Irish history, the book remains in Dublin, the city of Jameson’s origin. Daly has modernized this design to create a contemporary bottle for the brand.

Remarkably the exact same bottle was once more released 15 March 2012 for the very same occasion, something which does not seem to have been noted by most collectors and traders.

Suntory introduced Hibiki in April 1989, released to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the company.  The NAS premium blend at 43% ABV carried a suggested retail price of ¥10,000. Designated as “a masterful blend of specially aged whiskies with a mature full-bodied taste” on the front, the back label further elaborates that the contents are a mix of 30 different whiskies. The unique bottle, with its 24 facets that reflect the hours in the day as well as all the ‘small seasons’ in the year, sported a medallion, a gold cap stopper, all packaged in a luxurious box.  

Hibiki 17 years old was launched in 1994, as replacement for the nas version which however contained the exact same whisky. Hibiki 17 years phased out in 2019 in favor of Hibiki 21 years.

This is the first edition, a blend of 30 different malt whiskies, each aged a minimum of 17 years.

The Hakushu distillery is owned by the Suntory group, and situated in the Toribara locality of the former town of Hakushu, in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu region, Japan. This is the 2021 release Hakushu Spanish Oak, a limited edition of just 300 bottles for the domestic market, assigned by lottery.

This Yamazaki was bottled in 2011 for the 55th anniversary of the Arima Kinen horse race, held annually since December 1956. Its label depicts a pair of horses (Uma), one of the twelve signs of the Japanese zodiac.
