Launched in 2009, the Hennessy X.O. Exclusive Edition No.2, named 'Iridesence', is fitted with Swarovski crystals in a grape fruit bunch layout, showcasing the classic spirit contained in the bottle.

Hennessy X.O. is rich, full-bodied, complex, and has always embodied the finest traditions of Hennessy cognac. Originally created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy using very old eaux-de-vie, XO was reserved exclusively for his family and friends. XO is blended from more than 100 eaux-de-vie specially selected from the four premier growing areas. Some of the eaux-de-vie used in the blend have been ageing in the Hennessy warehouses since the early part of this century.

Since it's introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different cognacs which matured in wood between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a ancient Venetian bottle found on a Jarnac battlefield in the 19th century. In 1936 the glass decanter was replaced by a cristal version produced by Baccarat, Saint-Louis and Sèvres. The production of Rémy Martin Louis XIII is limited to 10.000 bottles annually.

Created by Cellarmaster André Giraud, launched in 1981, Rémy Martin XO is composed of a unique blend from up to 400 eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the most sought-after vineyards of Cognac: Grande Champagne (85%) and Petite Champagne. Several years after its introduction, the name changed into Rémy Martin XO Special which itself was replaced by Rémy Martin XO Excellence in 2003. Rémy Martin XO Special contains Cognac aged 8-35 years, bottled in a round grooved decanter, sometimes referred to as the sun decanter.
