(Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) was created in 1963 in honor of the prosperous period after WWII, known as 'Trente Glorieuses'. Chartreuse V.E.P. is made using the same processes and the same secret formula as the traditional liqueur, and by extra long ageing (8-20 years) in 600 liters demi-muids oak casks it reaches an exceptional quality.

Cherry Marnier is made exclusively from Morello cherries, a variety from Turkey known for its full flavour. The cherries are ground with their stones to lend body and aromatic richness before undergoing slow maceration and resting for one year in vats where the liqueur acquires its roundness and complexity.

Cherry Marnier Fine Old Cherry Brandy is a discontinued limited edition and has truly become a very rare catch. We suspect this one was released in 1980 around the time Marnier celebrated their 100th anniversary.
