Sakurao is a century old company that is in the process of transitioning from producing world blended whiskies to their own Japanese single malts.
This was part of their 100th anniversary's initiative to start their own distillery, Sakurao, situated in Hiroshima, They also have two distinct ageing facilities, one is at Hiroshima while the other is located in the forests of Akiota, Togouchi.
