Osuzuyama Distillery, founded in 1998, is a brewery that produces distilled spirits unique to Japan, known as shochu. Located deep in the mountains where the best quality water can be found, the distillery belongs to Kuroki Honten, the sake brewery in Japan’s Miyazaki prefecture with over 130 years of its history. In recent years, the distillery has developed new products, including hand-brewed spirits made with authentic shochu and the botanical aroma of plants picked in Miyazaki, as well as semi-permanently aged whisky made from germinated cereals.
