Karuizawa 1981, 13 years old, is a 1980’s release from Japan’s foremost bespoken distillery. In those days it was not common to release vintage malt whiskies, most of the production ended up in various blends.

This Karuizawa, part of the Cocktail Serie, is a blend of 1999 & 2000 Vintage, bottled for the BarShow 2012, drawn from Karuizawa marrying cask Sherry Butt #7698.
