This Hanyu Golden Horse 8 years old was bottled by Ichiro Akuto but as this contains Hanyu whisky it cannot be called Chichibu.

Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Ace of Clubs’ was distilled in 2000, aged on a Hogshead, finished in a Mizunara Puncheon and bottled in 2012. This is one of 500 bottles.

Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Ace of Diamonds’ was distilled in 1996, aged on a Hogshead, finished in a Sherry Butt and subsequently bottled in 2008. This is a limited edition of 527 bottles.

This Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Ace of Spades’ was released in 2005 and comes from a traditional oak cask that was re-racked into a single Spanish oak sherry butt #9308. This is the much sought-after first release, limited to 300 bottles.

Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Eight of Hearts’, distilled in 1991, released in 2008 and limited to 617 bottles. This whisky matured in Hoghshead #9303 before being finished in a Spanish Oak Oloroso cask.

This is the 2nd release of Ichiro’s Malt Jack of Cards, distilled in 1992 at Hanyu distillery. Aged on a Hogshead and finished in a American Oak Sherry Butt this one was released in 2006, one of 330 bottles.

Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Joker’ is the 54th release in this illusive range. The Colour Joker is a vatted malt containing 14 malts from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991 and 2000. A total of 3.690 bottles have been released in 2014.

This is Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Nine of Diamonds’, distilled in 1985, bottled in 2009, one of just 248 bottles drawn from cask #9421.

Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Nine of Spades’ is a 2010 release, limited to 584 bottles.

Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Card ‘Seven of Hearts’, distilled in 1990, was released in 2007. This is one of 636 bottles.
