Ín March 2014 Bacardi Martini has announced the re-launching of its Martini Bitter which it says is the original bitter aperitif. This new edition was only be available for a limited amount of time.   This Martini Bitter is the extremely rare 1980’s version, based upon the original recipe from 1872.

First introduced in the 1980s Petite Liquorelle was an attempt from Moët & Chandon to market a new style of cocktail drink, a mixture of M&C Champagne and Marc de Champagne, which is a eau-de-vie made from Champagne grapes. Unfortunately Petite Liquorelle was discontinued in the 1990s.

A Guyana rum, this was distilled at the Port Morant distillery. The cask was specially selected by Jim McEwan, Bruichladdich’s Master Distiller. The rum was then transferred into a Tempranillo wine cask from Ribera del Duero and the new cask was kept for at the Bruichladdich distillery for its “finish”.

The wonderfully fragrant St. Raphaël Doré, also called Ambré—is based on white wine and includes vanilla amongst other herbs. This is a old version which still contains 16% volume.

This Trois Rivières Single Cask was distilled in 1999 from cane harvested on Sibéran, one of the distilleries own fields. Aged on Missouri Oak fût 69.
