In 2023, the distillery, which reopened in 2017, released the second strictly limited bottle of the Artist Edition on the Japanese market. The exact number of bottles is unfortunately unknown, but given the small size of the distillery, it won't be large. The whisky was aged in sherry casks.

Kanosuke Artist Edition #003 is a Japanese whisky that captures Kagoshima’s essence, focusing on the “earth” element. Blending malt whiskies from various casks, including ex-shochu, and matured by the sea, it offers a complex and unique taste. The label design, reflecting the earth theme, completes this tribute to Kagoshima’s rich terroir.

Four Roses Super Premium is a premium bourbon known for its meticulous production process. Released in 1992 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the state of Kentucky, where the Four Roses distillery is located, this bourbon was initially sold exclusively in Japan under the name “Platinum.” Internationally, it’s known as “Super Premium.”

Four Roses offers a core range of five whiskies of which Super Premium is the pinnacle of this range, crafted from a blend of four carefully selected eight-year-old barrels (OBSK, OBSO, OESK, OESO) from a pool of ten unique mash bills. Given the challenges of aging bourbon for extended periods (such as the development of bitter flavors), creating a smooth, 10-year-old bourbon requires exceptional skill. Furthermore, the ability to consistently produce a top-tier product by blending ten distinct mash bills is a testament to Four Roses’ expertise.

Jack Daniel’s Silver Select was a travel retail exclusive, released in 1997. The Bourbon chosen for Silver Select aged in the highest location of the barrelhouse. Bottled at 50% abv this Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey is considered as one of the best whiskies ever released by Jack Daniel’s.

This Silver Select first release was released 10-5-01.

In 2017, Jameson is proud to be working with Steve McCarthy, a Dublin based designer and illustrator.

In Steve’s design he has brought the ‘chance your arm’ story to life with two outstretched hands, exchanging a handshake which is framed by the St. Patrick’s Cathedral door of Reconciliation. On the knuckles of each hand can be found the tattooed words “Sine” and “Metu”, a reference to the people around the world that have been inspired by the Jameson family motto and have etched it upon their skin as a reminder that when you fear a bit less, you live a bit more.

Following on the initial success of the inaugural Japanese exclusive Caskmates bottling comes this 2018 exclusive Japan only limited edition expression. Each year, Jameson teams up with a local artist to produce a wonderful “Japanified” label to adorn the classic Jameson recipe enjoyed by millions around the globe.

The artist in question is Yu Suda of Tama, Tokyo. The image in question appears to showcase the training of a Bushi or Samurai, who is identified with his ichimonji gasa or flat hat, carrying what we can only assume is a cask of delicious Irish Whiskey.

Lochan Ora (Golden Lake) is a whisky liqueur made with Chivas Regal Scotch whisky, flavored with honey and a secret recipe of herbs and spices. Lochan ora was introduced in 1968.

The discontinuation of Lochan Ora, in 2010, was the result of a combination of factors. Shifting consumer preferences, an overcrowded market, industry regulations, and increasing production costs all contributed to its downfall.

This is the 1st presentation which run from 1968 until 1978.
