Rémy Martin Grande Champagne Age Inconnu is the oldest quality Cognac supplied by Rémy Martin. The original concept dates back to June 13th, 1874, when Paul-Emile Rémy Martin officially registered the brandname of “Louis XIII Tres Grande Champagne – Age Unknown” which name was used until 1962.

Age Inconnu is a blend of 1200 different eau-de-vie, meticulously aged between 40 and 100 years, bottled between 1960 and 1975.

Description

Rémy Martin is one of the four biggest Cognac houses, founded in 1724 by French winemaker Rémy Martin. Until the 1920’s Rémy Martin played a modest role in the world of Cognac but this changed with the introduction of Rémy Martin VSOP in 1927. Cognac Rémy Martin contains only grapes from the two most appreaised terroirs: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
