This is an old bottling of Kotobukiya Very Rare Old Suntory Liqueur Whisky. Production of this expression started in 1937 as a 12-year old expression and it soon became the #1 whisky in Japan. Over time Suntory became so popular that in 1963 the name Kotobukiya was replaced by Suntory. This whisky is also known as Kakubin, Japanese for “square bottle”.
